When you have fresh cows milk what’s the best thing to make? Ice Cream!!!

The Hays Clan took a trip over to W8 Farms and milked there wonderful Dexter Dairy Cow Daisy Mae and got two full Pints of fresh Cows Milk and some ripe peaches to do some old fashioned Ice Cream.

So here is my recipe:

8 cups fresh cows milk, chilled from the udder

4 cups sugar

4 Tablespoons of vanilla extract

8 egg yokes

Start by adding 8 cups into a big sauce pot and heat it over medium heat on the stove-top.

Heat this on medium – medium/high stirring often. If the milk gets too hot too fast the entire pot will curdle and your pigs, chickens or dogs have curdled ice-cream for dinner. So, take your time heating up the milk.
