When you haven’t been camping in a few years you got to make sure the equipment is still good to go. So me and the boys got it all out and set it up in the yard, which at this time is perfect because everyone is bored.

I wasn’t sure how well the boys were with sitting up tents but now was a learning experience on to pull or not pull tent poles. How to stake them out and how a fly goes on.

Im really glad we did it because if we would of been at a real camping site and the boys were all distracted with fishing and swimming it would of got crazy. I’m a big believer in preplanning and confidence through action.

They did good and we vacuumed everything out and then packaged it back up to head out in a few weeks on a camping trip.
